International Polar Year in Ukraine: results and horizons - IAC2009

On international conference the scientific contribution of Ukraine to the world's treasury of knowledge of the Polar Regions, created by the International Polar Year were discused.
Sessions include:
- biology and ecology;
- physics of atmosphere and near space;
- meteorology and climate;
- geology, geophysics, and glaciology;
- underwater investigations (photo, video), Antarctic (photo, video).
IV International Antarctic Conference IAC 2009. III International Polar Year 2007-2008: Results and Outlooks
May 12-14, 2009, Kyiv, Ukraine
This international science conference is an interdisciplinary forum consisting of three sections: Geosciences, Life Sciences and Physical Sciences. The conference will be conducted in Ukrainian, Russian and English. Abstracts and publications should be presented in English and Ukrainian/Russian. Abstracts will be published before the Conference.
Deadline for applications: 1 March 2009. Please give your name, affiliation, title of your paper.
Deadline for abstract submission: 10 March 2009. Please send your abstracts by email to uac@uac.gov.ua (not more than 300 words, MS Word, Arial 12 (text) and 10 (information about authors). Name of presenting author should be in bold script, his e-mail should be presented. No pictures or graphs are allowed.
